The threads in quilts are a continuum that links the various stages of our lives -- from the quilts that wrap newborns, the quilts children use for tents and snuggling, the quilts that adorn teens’ rooms, the double ring quilts that symbolize weddings, to the quilts that comfort us as we age. While the sizes, designs, fabrics and styles change, quilts are always there, surrounding us on our life’s journey.
The Friendship Knot Quilters' Guild encourages the art of quilting. “Threads of Life” will showcase a fantastic array of quilts from traditional to contemporary. The show features quilts created by beginners to national award winners.
